Dunkin’ Donuts kicked off spring by adding 2 new salad wraps to their menu
New Chicken and Tuna Salad Wraps
Last Thursday, Dunkin’ Donuts permanently added chicken and tuna salad wraps to their menu, less than two weeks after McDonald’s added wraps to theirs.
The new wraps will be served in warm 8-inch flour tortillas with white Cheddar cheese, bacon, and your choice of chicken or tuna salad, mixed with celery, herbs, and spices. The company seems excited about these new additions and hope that customers feel the same way.
"Dunkin’ Donuts has distinguished itself for serving fast, satisfying menu items that can be enjoyed any time. We are committed to finding new and innovative ways to meet the needs of people seeking more variety and more choices in snacks to help get them through their busy day," Dunkin’ Donuts president John Costello said in a release. "Our new wraps enhance our popular lineup of bakery sandwiches and baked goods, and offer our guests even more ways to keep running on Dunkin’ whether it’s 8 a.m. or 8 p.m."
If wraps aren’t your speed, Dunkin’ also announced that they will be serving two new Spring Pastel Donuts at participating restaurants: one ring donut with strawberry and pastel green icing and the other filled with apple raspberry jelly filling. The donuts will be served until May.

5 Foods You'll Never See at Dunkin' Again
The menu at Dunkin' has changed a lot in recent years. No longer Dunkin' Donuts, the chain now focuses on specialty coffee drinks and offers plenty of breakfast sandwiches, including plant-based ones made with Beyond Meat. But for all of the menu expansions, Dunkin' has also cut some items from its U.S. menu over the years.
Here are some of the discontinued Dunkin' foods that probably won't be making a return anytime soon. And for more nostalgia, don't miss these 15 Classic American Desserts That Deserve a Comeback.
Dunkin’ Donuts History Lesson
Dunkin’ was founded in 1950 by William Rosenberg in Quincy, Massachusetts. The brand is now headquartered in Canton, Massachusetts. Dunkin’ is a subsidiary of Dunkin’ Brands Inc., owner of Baskin-Robbins ice cream shops. Nearly all 6,700 Dunkin’s across the United States (and over 3,000 internationally) are owned and operated as franchises.
The brand has become a household name in 41 states and 36 countries. Serving over 3 million customers each day, hoping on the Dunkin’ bandwagon makes sense. So, you may be wondering, how much does a Dunkin’ franchise cost? Here’s our breakdown to get you started:
Dunkin' Donut Introduces First Gluten-Free Menu Item
Plus, donut fries and pretzel bites join the new snack menu.
Calling all Dunkin’ Donuts fanatics. The much-loved coffee shop has introduced a first to its stores: a gluten-free fudge brownie.
The chain has finally decided to recognize the needs of customers with dietary restrictions with the release of its new so-called Dunkin’ Run snack menu, which also includes donut fries, waffle breaded chicken tenders, and pretzel bites. In a statement, the company called the brownie 𠇌hewy and delicious,” predicting that even people without gluten intolerance will like it.
In June, Dunkin’ Donuts announced that it would be releasing donut fries, a more mobile-friendly way of eating your typical round doughnut. Admittedly, these doughnut spears do look slightly easier to eat if you’re running to catch your train with a coffee in one hand. Sorry, the rest of the Dunkin’ Run snack menu isn’t gluten-free𠅊t least for now.
Every item on Dunkin’ Donuts new snack menu is under two dollars, which makes it even more of a temptation to stop by for donut fries when your sweet tooth takes control of your body. The rest of the Dunkin’ Run menu items are more geared toward lunch, which might mean that the chain is trying the pull in customers outside of breakfast rush hour—maybe even tempting skeptics to stop in for lunch. I don&apost know about you, but I definitely need a caffeine boost in the middle of the day.
Of course, Starbucks already has plenty of gluten-free menu items on hand, including a breakfast sandwich, so it seems as though Dunkin’ Donuts is playing catch up with its competitors. Don’t worry, though. Dunkin’ Donuts won’t be down for long. The chain seems to be undergoing a rebranding effort: It will be phasing out its iconic Styrofoam cups and in some places has dropped the 𠆍onuts’ from its name altogether. The company also has plans to open 9,000 new locations, some of which may even include drive-thru windows (finally).

Dunkin’ Donuts Introduces $2 Menu, Including Its First-Ever Gluten-Free Item
“Go on, take the Dunkin’ and run.” That’s how that classic Steve Miller Band song goes, right? At least that’s how we feel on hectic Monday mornings when we’re hitting up that Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru to get our iced coffee and glazed doughnut.
And just for us constantly-on-the-go types, Dunkin’ has launched its new Dunkin’ Run value menu &mdash and, no, it doesn’t solely consist of breakfast items.
The menu features a cast of $2 items, including ham and cheese rollups, pretzel bites with mustard and waffle-battered chicken tenders. But the two we’re most excited about are the return of Donut Fries and Dunkin’s first-ever nationwide gluten-free bakery product: the fudge brownie.
Introduced back in April, the Donut Fries are buttery croissants, deep-fried and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Who needs Taco Bell’s nacho fries when you can have these glorious, crispy doughnut fries? Actually, no, don’t answer that, Bell-heads.
“We know that the ‘Dunkin’ Run’ is a daily part of many of our guests’ lives as they keep themselves and their friends running, so we’re excited to launch a new menu offering fresh ways to satisfy any craving any time of day,” says Dunkin’ Donuts’ U.S. chief marketing officer Tony Weisman in a press release. “We also recognize the importance of providing alternative choices for people with dietary restrictions or who choose a gluten-free diet, which is why we’re pleased our new menu offers guests a gluten-free fudge brownie, which is so chewy and delicious we think everyone will love it.”
According to Dunkin’ Donuts’ press release, the menu was created to pair perfectly with their signature beverages, including their iced coffees and teas. And for $2 each, you get a pretty sizeable amount of food: two orders of ham and cheese rollups, five bite-size pretzels with a side of spicy brown mustard and two chicken tenders coated in waffle batter.
Also returning to the menu is the s’mores doughnut, perfect to round out your summer. And who can resist a chocolate icing-frosted doughnut filled with marshmallow and sprinkled with graham crackers and Hershey’s chocolate?
See y’all in the DD drive-thru. We’ll take one of everything.
If you are craving a delicious coffee beverage, there are some options at Dunkin Donuts. The options on this list all have at least 5 grams of protein and are all under 200 calories. They are sorted in order of grams of protein per calorie, so the choices offering the most bang for your buck are at the top.
The main thing that makes these drinks a source of protein is the dairy product included in the drink. If you are watching your calories, try ordering a low fat dairy product in your drink such as skim milk. Most of the different sizes in each drink will provide approximately the same amount of protein grams per calorie. However, based on the nutritional information available on Dunkin&apos Donuts&apos website, some drinks were had a slightly different protein to calorie ration depending on size.

Any Emerging Forerunners in The Donut Party?
James Taylor, Creative Director at Jones Knowles Ritchie, is excited for The Donut Party — and knows this is political party Americans can get behind and support.
“Did you know that 96% of Americans can agree on something? It’s their love for donuts!” Taylor says.
In an election year with a country divided, Taylor and the creatives at JKR thought these sweet treats might be what it takes to unite America.
“What started as a welcome distraction to the election now feels even more needed as we navigate the weight of 2020,” Taylor says.
So… which canDOUGHdate will Taylor rock the vote in favor of?
“I won’t be voting for my favorite donut,” Taylor admits. He laughs, “My British citizenship gets me out of that tough decision!”
By no means do doughnuts have to be associated with a particular time of year, but if they did, certainly autumn would be a prime candidate for doughnut season. Whether it’s cider doughnuts, maple glazing, or just cool enough weather to whip out the deep fryer, there's a bevy of reasons doughnuts are ideal as the harvest months arrive. And chief among those reasons is Halloween.
Coffee may be the power source that helps you rev up to start your day. But an installation in New York City this weekend is hoping to prove that coffee has the ability to supply power so something as substantial as an entire home.
Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Scare Up New Halloween Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme and Dunkin&apos do not lack for creative thoughts around big food moments in America. Earlier this year, Dunkin&apos changed its name to Pumpkin&apos to honor the roll out of their seasonal pumpkin-flavored treats and drinks. Krispy Kreme filled a gap in America&aposs heart with Valentine&aposs Day conversation heart-shaped doughnuts.
Now, the doughnut companies and coffeehouses are adorning their iconic fried dough rings in orange, green, purple, and white icing, sugary eyes, and gooey drizzles to transform them into spirited sweets for Halloween.
Krispy Kreme rolled out three new doughnuts for the holiday, collectively known as the Monster Batch Doughnuts. Slimon, the Slime Monster Doughnut, is made with Krispy Kreme&aposs Original Glazed doughnut that is filled with lemon slime — yes, actual slime that&aposs not too unlike the green goop that dripped from the rafters in "Ghostbusters." The filled doughnuts are then dipped in green icing and topped with a dollop of green Kreme. A sugary eyeball sits in the center, and a few drizzles of slime ribbons finish off the treat.
Hypno-Henry, the Cake Batter Monster, is not for the faint of heart — or the person without a sweet tooth. This doughnut is filled with creamy cake batter and topped with a mix of yellow icing and orange sugar sprinkles. A hypnotic swirl of white icing draws your attention to the sugar eye. Sharp sugary fangs are the final touch.
Krispy Kreme&aposs third Monster Batch Doughnut is Mumford, the Mummy Monster Doughnut. This Original Glazed doughnut is topped with white icing and purple icing ribbons that mimic the lines of mummy wrapping. A sugary eyeball and fangs complete the terrifying look.
This trio is available at Krispy Kreme from October 7 to Halloween. If you show up at the bakery on Halloween dressed in your costume, you can pick a free doughnut of choice.
