I'm a big, big fan of these cherry cakes. If it were only cherry desserts for me, I would eat, but I have to think about the others as well;) ... So, I leave you a sweet and sour sweetness.

  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon grated baking powder
  • grated lemon peel
  • 1 cherry bolisor

For the glaze:

  • 100 ml liquid cream
  • 80 gr milk chocolate (you can also put bitter, I did not have)
  • white chocolate flakes

Servings: 10

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Cherry cake and chocolate icing:

We wash the cherries, we clean them of seeds.

We mix the eggs with the sugar together with the sugar.

Add the oil, lemon juice, milk.

At the end we incorporate grated lemon peel, baking powder and sifted flour.

Grease a round tray (26 cm in diameter) with butter and line it with flour.

We put the cherries, and we pour the composition lightly on top.

Put the tray in the hot oven, at a suitable temperature and let the cake bake until it turns golden on top, we do the test with the toothpick.

When it is ready, take it out of the oven and let it cool.


In a thicker pan, put the broken chocolate pieces, with liquid cream and transfer it to the fire.

Leave on the fire until the chocolate is melted.

Pull it off the stove, let it cool for 2-3 minutes, then drill the cake with a skewer stick and pour the icing lightly.

Let it cool to room temperature, sprinkle with white chocolate flakes and then refrigerate.
